Mrs. Adetoke Benson-Awoyinka, a Legal Practitioner is grounded in different areas of the Law profession ranging from Insurance Law including Underwriting policies, Risk and Claims Management. She also possesses expertise in Litigation, Probate and Land matters.

 

Born on 12 of June, 1967 she had her education at Marywood Grammar School, Ebute-Metta and the Lagos State University (LASU). She graduated with a Bachelor of Law at LASU and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1990.

 

She started her career at Standard Insurers where she learnt the ropes in Insurance Law, and moved to full time legal practice and litigation with Yemi Peters & Co and then to B.O Benson Law Office working with the best hands in Probate and Land matters.

 

She further challenged herself forging partnerships with Gbenga Afolabi Benson & Co, Lenox and Blair Estates, venturing into Oil and Gas Law and Consultancy.

 

She worked variously at Sprint United – a Telecommunication Company in the United States as a Lawyer and Technical Consultant; Head of Corporate Strategy and Policy implementation at Dvyn Inc. also in the United States.

 

On her return to Nigeria, armed with a wealth of experience in policy making and implementation, she was part of the team that crafted the Development Agenda for Western Nigeria (DAWN) seeking Pillars of development for Western Nigeria that fits into the peculiarities as a region.

 

Her vibrancy and concern for the greater development of Nigeria influenced her diverse and political engagements over the years and brings with her, years of experience in Law, Business Solutions Management and Corporate Governance.

Mohammed Asaria

Mohammed Asaria is the Founder, Managing Director and Member of the Board of Range Developments, the largest & most successful hospitality developer in the Eastern Caribbean engaged in the Citizenship by Investment sphere.

 

Mohammed founded Range Developments in 2012 and in this period of time, Range Developments has completed the Park Hyatt St. Kitts (CNN named it the ‘Best New Hotel in the Caribbean’ in 2017) and the Kempinski Hotel in Dominica (Forbes claimed it was the most anticipated hotel opening in the Caribbean in 2019). Range Developments are currently developing the Six Senses in Grenada which is scheduled to open in 2022.

 

Mohammed and Range Developments have transformed the face of luxury real estate development and Citizenship by Investment across the Eastern Caribbean. Mohammed is a trusted advisor to Caribbean Governments on Citizenship by Investment policies and has been involved in the restructuring of multiple Citizenship by Investment programs across the region.

Tayo Odunsi is a Chartered Surveyor with over 15 years of professional real estate
experience.

 

He is the CEO of Northcourt real estate, an award-winning real estate services company with offices in Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt, Nigeria. Northcourt has been awarded the Euromoney award for best real estate research company and best real estate advisors in Nigeria and Africa.

 

He is the author of the book – Affordable: Thinking differently and critically about affordable housing (2018, Kinetic Publishing).


He holds an undergraduate degree in Estate management from the University of Lagos, a MSc. Real estate finance and investment degree from the Henley Business School, University of Reading, UK as well as an MBA from the Imperial College London. Adeyinka Adesope is Executive Vice Chairman of Propertymart Real Estate Investment Limited and was appointed as the Group Managing Director of Palton Morgan Holdings in 2012. Prior to the above, Adeyinka was the Managing Director/CEO of Propertymart limited, a fast-growing Real Estate Investment firm. Under his tenure, the business witnessed significant success.

 

Adeyinka’s stint with local and multinational companies and valuable experience in setting up a number of companies prior to being appointed MD/CEO of Propertymart in 2008, helped in transforming the company into a strategy think-tank. A known promoter of innovation and creativity, Adesope does not believe in limitations. He is a young, unassuming entrepreneur with over a decade of experience in the business world.

Sean Godoy

Most of his professional experience has been as a property market analyst and commentator. He is a proptech commentator and enthusiast, and is cofounder of the SA Proptech and Proptech Africa associations.

Femi Adewole is a housing finance professional with over 25 years experience leading housing initiatives across Sub Saharan Africa and the United Kingdom.

Korede Adedayo

Korede Adedayo is the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of FirstTrust
Mortgage Bank Plc. He is a seasoned banker with over two decades experience
that cuts across notable banks in Nigeria. He has built versatility and core
competence across Mortgage Banking, Retail Banking, Credit Analysis, Consumer
Banking, Wealth Creation and Management.

Korede has held various leadership positions including Group Head, Private
Banking, First Bank of Nigeria Limited (2009) in which he played a major role in
building the division. He was also a pioneer member of the team that birthed
Providus Bank Limited.

He also played a lead role in the successful merger between First Mortgages

Mr Chiedu Nweke

Chiedu Nweke has a lot of experience in real estate in Nigeria particularly in the hydraulic sandfilling and large reclamation of swamp land for real estate development.

 

He conceived and founded Orange Island, and Periwinkle Lifestyle Estate, Lekki Phase I, in Lagos. He was also involved in the sandfilling of Lakowe Lakes, Adiva Estate and Townville in Lagos for ARM Properties Limited.

 

He was involved in the reclamation and sandfilling of Agbowa Timber Village, Ikorodu, Lagos.

He is a Lawyer and a Senior Member of the Lagos Bar Association. He holds an LLB from the University of Nigeria and LLM from Lagos State University.

 

Before moving into real estate, he was the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of West African Waste Management Limited, an oil waste treatment company servicing the oil majors like Shell, Exxon Mobil, AGIP etc.

 

He was also involved in both Shenker Shipping Limited and Linktel Shipping Limited both oil tanker logistic companies. Mr. Nweke’s expertise and experience include transportation and logistics of oil waste management and handling particularly from offshore locations, job costing, personal training, HSE and regulatory compliance.

 

He is currently the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Periwinkle Residences Limited developers of Periwinkle Lifestyle Estate, Lekki, Lagos and Managing Director and CEO of Swampsea Construction Company Limited the technical arm of Orange Island Development Company Limited.

 

In these positions, he supervises some of the biggest real estate and infrastructure development Nigeria.
He sits on the board of several companies including Orange Island Development Company Limited, a company he founded with his partners in FW Dredging Limited.

Emmanuel Odemayowa

TOPIC: REAL ESTATE DEVELOPMENT IN NIGERIA & THE EFFECT OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC : A DEVELOPER'S PERSPECTIVE

A product of the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile – Ife (Formerly University of Ife). He has worked in various sectors of the economy. As an astute entrepreneur, he has established some companies thereby doing his bit in providing jobs for teeming Nigerian graduates.

 

He has garnered cognate experience in real estate development, marketing and consultancies over the years. Odemayowa started his career with the Economic Growth & Development Centre (EGDC), Abuja, where he was fully involved in research projects spanning National Planning and Development issues. He later moved to the real estate sector as pioneer Business Development Manager with a frontline real estate firm in Nigeria.

 

He holds a Certificate in Development Issues from the World Bank Institute and has also attended trainings and development programmes in leadership, entrepreneurship and management. He has undergone various marketing, managerial and leadership trainings including the CEP Programme at both the Lagos Business School and IESE Business School of the University of Navarra, Barcelona, Spain. He is a member of the United States National Association of Home Builders. He is the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Deluxe Residences Limited as well as other several business concerns.

 

Apart from being an entrepreneur, Mr. Odemayowa is also a philanthropist.
